Bob Marley! Where do I begin… Born Robert Nesta Marley 6th Feb 1945, he is the most legendary Jamaican musician and Rastafari to have ever lived. His music was heavily influenced by social issues of his homeland, which spread valuable messages to the entire world. At the age of 14, Bob dropped out of school to learn the welding trade and in 1963, Bob, Bunny Walier & Peter Tosh formed ‘The Wailers’. Melanoma Cancer prematurely ended his life at the age of 36 but his wife, Rita (whom gave birth to 4 of his 12 children) carries on his work. His children such as Damian Jr. carry on his musical legacy. Every Reggae bar in the world, endorses a shrine for Bob Marley, FACT (well don’t quote me on that)! Bob Marley is one of the greatest inspirations and his legacy is still very much alive.
